GENERAL INFORMATION 

For all foreigners entering Chad it is necessary to be in possession of a passport with a valid visa, with the exception of the foreigners, who are citizens of the following countries: Benin, Burkina-Faso, Cameroon, Republic of Central Africa, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Niger. These foreigners can enter the Chad on presentation of their valid passport or a waive. Holders of a diplomatic or official passport or any other travel document issued by an international organization are not required to pay for visa fees.

How to apply for a visa through the embassy of Chad:

1. Valid passport

2. Complete the visa application forms with the required photo.

3. An attestation from your employer stating the reason for your travel to Chad, clearly marking the date of departure from the US

4. Be in possession of a round trip ticket, or have a valid reservation from a travel agency

5. Have at least two free pages in your passport

6. Posses an invitation letter

* All supporting documents MUST be submitted with the passport.

Incomplete Application will be rejected.

Include a prepaid return label and envelope from ( FedEx-UPS or USPS only) with a valid return address label. Return envelop showing only the account number are no longer accepted as proof of pre-payment. Credit cards, checks, Money orders or cash will no longer be accepted for return mailing.​

Any package without a proper pre-paid return envelope and label will not be process until a proper return envelope is received. It is the applicant's responsibility to determine the EXACT return shipping costs. All labels must have a tracking number. All visa applicants are advised to keep both incoming and outgoing tracking number for their records.
